NEW STRETCH GOALS!
PRINTED HEARTS - silk screened score tokens in all copies of the game have been unlocked! The fun style from our resources is now extended to these charming scoring tokens. Grab that high score with a meat heart, or take the win with an iron heart. You get the idea - bread, plant, potion, crystal - and even a fancy heart for those getting the Kickstarter exclusive Fancy Dragon miniature add-on! BONUS - the back side of the hearts has 50 on it - for all of those awesome games you will have topping the score chart in town!
On the horizon - DRAGONS! screen-printed Dragon meeples! Everyone's game can make use of these silk screened meeples - either as your main piece (in standard copies around the world) or use these on the score score board to cruise around on the mat in style! We are almost there on the stretch goal map. And then we have a bunch of surprises to lead us into the final week!
SOCIAL GOAL UPDATE
Well, well, well.. only one visible social goal to go! And it's going to take a village to unlock it. And yet, you the wishing well has an aura of magic surrounding it, and somehow you know we're going to do it! The way to unlock the well is easy - SHARE the wealth of this game - share the art. If you do that, we are sure to find more friends of dragons - Artwork to share is found on our DROPBOX!

NAME THE STARTER BREAD DRAGON!
In Flamecraft, there are six starter dragons that will begin each game. We had been leaning towards one of the existing dragons per type to become the start of game ambassador, but we've got an exciting idea that will add to the the way the starters are used in the game! Sandara is sketching new artisan cards to feature these starters (below is not the card art - just a sketch that shows the arrival of one of our founders. More on this later! (wink)

INTRODUCING COMPANION DRAGONS - EXCLUSIVE
If you've seen the stretch goal map (which now extends in 2 parts thanks to over 40 goals unlocked!!), you'll notice a curious collection of artisan dragons has made their way into our game. We're talking about none other than us - the team that made this game. Ok, so you've got Manny now! (woo hoo! and Brad and Sandara too - seven dragons ready to help you craft. But you know what - we don't want to just do the same 'ol thing - we want to be by your side and help you be the master of flame! (win the game in style, you know?)
Introducing a variable power set of dragons - as an option at the start of the game, you can deal out companions to everyone and these will feature a one-time power that you can fire up whenever you would activate a dragon on a gather turn. Use it wisely, it can change the game! The companions are Kickstarter-exclusive!

LANGUAGE AND PARTNER UPDATE
We are excited to officially announce three more languages bringing our total to 12 translated languages for Flamecraft. We have shared Flamecraft online (via Tabletopia) on our DISCORD server! We are officially extending this play through the end of the campaign for more people to get a chance to play! We've added a feedback room and a google form, and there's tons of players now who can answer questions or help you host a game.

Tiny Artisan Dragons Raise over 1 Million Dollars on Kickstarter! - YAY!

So apparently, when you sort Kickstarter projects by tabletop - there are 29,581 projects.
There are approximately 180 (less than 1%) of these fortunate enough to fund to over 1 million dollars!
In just 10 days, you have helped this game of tiny artisan dragons join that special club. We are so incredibly honored and amazed by this magic!
MORE TO COME! - there are 13 days remaining on this campaign, and we have a lot more to talk about and unlock! With this this big milestone reached, we have now unlocked over 40 stretch and socials! Thank you for making this game amazing. Let's talk about what just happened - three huge enchantments were just cast on the town:
SANDARA THE FANCY DRAGON!
As some of you may have noticed, our "Meet the Team" dragons started entering the game. We couldn't help ourselves, we love being in this town! At this point, we've unlocked a full artisan dragon set of us - and we'll share soon what we would like to do with this bonus set in the game. For now though, we'd love to introduce Sandara as a Fancy Dragon in Flamecraft!. Yes, this means she gets a power. Of course she's always had the power to "draw" more dragons!
SOLO MODE: UNLOCKED!
We know. We said this game didn't have a a solo mode. We love the experience of 2-5 players and the interaction that results in the shared engine. But you asked us - a few times. What about the solo dragons, you say? How could we say no to moar dragons? Or less... as it were.
The team dug deep and we found a solo challenge mode that requires no new components and magically plays just like the multiplayer version. In fact, our testers remarked how it nicely simulates a bustling town of players rather than just a single dragon friend. We feel strongly enough about it to put it in the game and complete the experience in time for production!
IT'S A MEAT DRAGON!
By popular demand...
...a NEW PLUSH! That's right, the bread dragon has a friend in town! Many of you reached out and told us that the plush was one of the most magical parts of the campaign, and we are willing to make another add-on for this big moment! Keep in mind, we're not making the entire crew, but the meat dragon is our iconic logo dragon, and it seems fitting to have a baker and a chef pair.
The above image is just a drawing, similar to what we gave our manufacturing partner to make the bread dragon. From seeing the bread dragon fully baked, we hope you can imagine that the meat dragon will come out just as charming and magical, just as huggable.
FLAMECRAFT IN JAPANESE AND PORTUGUESE!
We have some more exciting news on the language partner front! We have added Japanese and Portuguese as languages available in the Pledge Manager and will soon confirm the publishing studios info in the coming days. Thanks to Lucky Duck Games for making this possible! We know this means a lot to people - we've seen the tweets! This is especially good news for Brazil, since we cannot find a way to deliver this beautiful game to Brazil in fulfillment. But now with this news, we can at least facilitate orders to the publishing partner.
Flamecraft will be in 9 languages and counting. We have MORE to confirm!
SOCIAL GOALS - WISHING FOR MORE
There hasn't been a social goal that this team wasn't ready for, and the Iron Dragon goal was no different! We wanted pets as dragons and you gave us pets as dragons! So many dragons! This is just a small sampling of the fun! And now the Tailor Shop in town "Sew Cute" is officially unlocked!
So as you'll see in the social image - the gang is all here! The artisan dragons have come together for a party. But wait, is it really a party without a fancy dragon? We need another social goal! As you wish!
The Wishing Well unlocks when we reach 21,000 backers! What? That's so many backers!
We agree, and we're excited to meet everyone! With 14,000 of us strong, we can do it! Everyone just needs to SHARE some art. To that end, we've put the Wishing Well art in our Backer Dropbox folder in an Instagram format and a Facebook/Twitter horizontal size for you to use!

A short update today so that we can get right into the artist stream - we're streaming with Sandara LIVE now! Come join us!
As we close in on $1,000,000 USD we’ve been reminded we’ve already crossed the $1,000,000 line in Singapore and Canada. The international support for this project is amazing - the love of tiny artisan dragons is universal. And there’s farther to go! We’re just past one week into the campaign with two weeks still ahead of us, and so many more amazing things to share!

DICE TOWER CROWDFUNDING PICKS OF THE WEEK!
Thank you to the Dice Tower! We caught the eye of Tom, Zee and Mike in their regular segment looking at the latest Kickstarters. "This is some of my favorite artwork I’ve ever seen in a game." thank you TOM! Mike and Tom both named it their picks of the week - and for Tom to pick the same game as already picked on the show is a big deal in our eyes! Here's their whole crowdfunding segment
SOCIAL GOALS GETTING SMASHED
Watch out for the crystal! No sooner did we put out the call for FAN HEARTS on our BoardgameGeek page, but you, the flamekeepers, responded in a HUGE way. We can use all the fandom we can get on BGG to show everyone that this game is serious about it's place at the table! Thanks for the help - the goal for Crystal is fully unlocked! And with it, fittingly, comes one of the highest fan-voted shops in our comment sections - a glass blower! A favorite for Sandara too - the crystal dragons are handling the hot glass directly of course, and making magical pieces of art!
The IRON SOCIAL GOAL is so close! We love seeing your pets as dragons! So many creative costumes. We believe that we'll have this goal by tomorrow, and yet another shop! We'll update the shop list in town. We have so many wonderful places to visit.
UNLOCKED ART PRINTS
We haven’t talked about these exclusives much - the art speaks so much better than our words, but we are so excited - we've unlocked 12 gorgeous locations from the Flamecraft world as mini art prints. These are free and included with every pledge! We’ll put more info up on the page about these once we stop staring at them in awe...

What a weekend! Thank you for keeping the town fire burning day and night and lighting up all manner of social and stretch goals along our way. Thanks for igniting this game on BoardGameGeek (BGG) and keeping it at the top of the hotness for days straight! Flamecraft is on FIRE - thanks to YOU. We are also making this game better and better as we go!

SOCIAL GOAL UNLOCKS
Order up for Flamecraft. POTION SOCIAL GOAL JUST UNLOCKED - we asked for cups with Flamecraft on 'em, and you all drank coffee and tea and even wrote on cups at home and shared! And now, we've unlocked an Alchemy Lab in town (and Cardboard Alchemy heartily approves).
AND... WE GOT A BOOKSTORE! We are so excited - we asked for YouTube subscribers to build up our ability to schedule live streams (like the one above) and you quickly responded! And here is a quick look at the art for this upcoming shop:
SPECIAL PRIZE STREAM - TBA! What is in store in this bookstore? We found a special prize item for everyone for unlocking this shop - and as promised we're going to schedule a stream to reveal that coming later in the campaign! Stay tuned!
At the same time, the FLAT MANNY challenge has almost unlocked the Pizza Coven shop! We've seen people take Flat Manny out to sooooo many dinners. Manny is having a fun time devouring all these meals with his eyes, as we look far and wide finding more and more social posts. It's a blast to see these - thank you for sharing! We're super close to unlocking this one - just 7 more nom nom noms to go and we'll unlock THIS: (rough sketch of course, but this is going to be such a fun one!)

But wait there's more!
NEW SOCIAL GOALS! How could we neglect Iron and Crystal dragons, the main item producers in town. These artisans want a chance at a social stretch goal! The Iron dragons want to see the tailor come to life (Sandara is drawing it LIVE - see above). For the finishing touches - we would love to see your PETS DRESSED AS DRAGONS! Some of your pets might already be dragons! We'd love to see them in costume (even a paper cut out version) and shared out there to show how cute our loveable dragon-sized pets can be in our lives.
For CRYSTAL, we have picked the ultimate shop - a huge favorite in the comments and with Sandara - a glass blower! We have to have a glass blower in Flamecraft! How magical! To get this shop, we'd love you to HEART our page on BoardGameGeek and add fans on BGG. This will have a huge affect on the retail stores that are deciding to carry the game - great support on BGG goes a long way in this town!

STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKS
This past weekend was truly amazing. We saw so many stretch goals passed on the map! There's so many to name. This campaign is going incredibly fast and we barely had a chance to make the map before it was completed again (a great problem to have) - but this means we may be explaining stretch goals over a couple updates. Here are some key highlights we don't want you to miss!
ENCHANTMENTS - A NEW SET!
We're excited for another set of enchantments to cast around town - not just because we want to see a new fun name here and there (move over Crème Brûlée, now we have a pint of Owlbeer!), but also because these enchantments add a new twist to the game. You'll use either the original enchantment deck or swap the entire 18 cards out for these magical golden enchantments - this set playing more off of the gold coins in town. Now the race for gold to deliver these magical recipes begins!
Another fun bonus component added to the deluxe game was a commemorative coin! There's a special larger coin in your dragon-made bag and it says "Flamekeeper". We decided to make a bigger coin for a few reasons - it's larger so it flips better (you never know when you need to flip a coin), or in a pinch it can count as a larger denomination if money runs tight. Or just because! Dragons need no specific reason to hoard more coins!
DUELING COASTERS? DUAL COASTERS FOR ALL!
What's better than one amazing Sandara Tang coaster with a dragon picnic on it?? A free bonus coaster with a dragon picnic - the other three dragons get in on this messy version of the picnic scene - and better yet, this coaster is FREE whenever you were getting the first coaster. Getting a free one for signing up on our newsletter in August? Now you get BOTH! Buying three? Now it's 3 PAIRS, and you get SIX! Every coaster is now a pair of fun picnics. We are thrilled to have funded this much and Sandara in particular was blown away by the funding this far and fast. This second coaster captures the experience of running a Kickstarter so perfectly. Sometimes we feel like the crystal dragon, but overall it's the meat dragon excitement - more BBQ please!
Let's see - what else? Well, Fancy Dragons - these are new end game powers. Welcome Starburst, Hocus and more! Artisan dragons? We have more of those too - Daniel, Erick, Rich and now Manny! These were originally intended as just our team photos, but we decided that the game could use another set of artisan dragons for options. We'll come back to these when we finish collecting the whole set! We're almost to Peter and Brad (cheers!) and then we'll have Sandara to find somewhere.
We've unlocked 10 exclusive art prints too - only to the backers of this campaign, and Sandara is picking her favorites to give all of you. We'll have a feature on these on the page soon, explaining more about the 10 prints.

New shop reveal and PLUSH GIVEAWAY on this stream! Shenanjegans is a gaming video creator on Facebook - she is a streamer featuring switch/video games, party games and BOARD GAMES too! She has a passion for all things adorable and we do believe our dragons count. :) As it so happens, it's Friday the 13th here, and in lieu of spooky dragons - we do have a fun shop coming up with witches named the Pizza Coven! (new social goal - see below). Join us for the reveal of this new shop sketch and a pizza party streamed on Tabletopia!
NEW SOCIAL GOALS - BRING MANNY TO YOUR NEXT MEAL!
First, let's talk about the BREAD QUEST - FULLY UNLOCKED!
We asked for you to bake dragons and wow were you ready for this challenge. We saw muffins, brownies, cookies, cakes, fruit tarts, macarons and more. And you crushed it. We have unlocked the social goal for bread and now have a CANDY STORE in town, called Guilty Treasures. Here is a very rough sketch from Sandara of our confectioner's paradise!
We had to feature a couple of the dragon baked goodies found in the wild. Amazing job everyone!

Ok, let's talk about NEW SOCIAL GOALS! The power of the meat dragon in game is to place a new dragon in town, and so we've cooked up a new social goal! We do love the pictures of FLAMECRAFT cups online, we'd love to see groups of people too, so one our latest social goals is inspired by "Flat Stanley" where a 2D printed character has pictures taken all over town. In our case, We have a "Flat Manny" that you can color, print and take around.
NOTE: If you can't get out (and we want everyone to stay safe or comfortable) you can still print Manny at home and take a picture with a smaller group. The main thing is sharing this new found game with others to see if we can grow our Kickstarter family! Also, Manny then gets to eat at all of your tables, which he's excited to do. Tag outside our Flamecraft groups to any social channel with #flamecraft and #socialdragons and help us unlock the PIZZA COVEN!
There's also a BOOKSTORE to UNLOCK! Don't forget about the plant dragons! We are growing a YouTube channel at Cardboard Alchemy, and we'd love to reach 1000 subscribers in order to live stream some game play. Plus, if you "bookmark" (aka subscribe) to our channel, we'll use it for good and post a video giving away a special item in EVERY COPY OF THE GAME! We're almost there - thank you!
SHOP LOCATIONS
Ok, it's time to look at shops in town a little more closely -for a few reasons. #1 - we want your ideas for new shops in the comments on this update and on the main wall is fun too!
We're going to have a backer suggested shop in the campaign! Sandara and Manny will choose from the top votes. Here's a helpful tip - if it can be a business that uses fire or flame, you'll be more likely to see dragons there. But before we can ask you this, we need to show you what is unlocked, and get the ideas flowing. So we'll be updating THIS visual graphic near the lower part of the page - here:
Notice that we try and change the top shop from time to time, and highlight which one is shown! Hope you enjoy looking at more cards!
We've been unlocking so many of these, and each one has it's own gameplay effect - and we know you don't know enough about these yet, so we'll also be featuring more of the shop abilities in a future update and digging into some of the common types and uncommon types of shops. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime, wander amongst the currently 27 shops in town and think of what other fun locations you'd love to see - we want to know!
